CO₂ High-Pressure Gas Filling System with ACE Duplex Panel for an Industrial Gas Fill Plant

CTR engineered, fabricated, and delivered a turnkey high-pressure CO₂ gas filling system as a core component of a recently commissioned large-scale industrial gas fill plant. This solution was designed to meet the customer’s stringent production, safety, and automation requirements for mixed gas cylinder filling in a high-throughput industrial environment. 

Scope of Work:

• Custom-engineered high-pressure manifold and gas handling hardware for CO₂ service
• Fully automated ACE (Advanced Control Equipment) duplex control panel with PLC and intuitive touchscreen interface for recipe-based mixed gas filling and real-time process feedback
• Duplex panel supports a single gas (CO2) from two sources (one active / one reserve) to ensure continuous, uninterrupted gas supply
• Integration of temperature and pressure monitoring for enhanced safety and performance during the fill cycle
• Manual override provisions and emergency controls to support operational flexibility and safety
• Complete electrical and control system design, fabrication, and factory testing

This project expanded the customer’s fill plant capacity with a reliable, high-efficiency gas filling solution that boosts throughput, enhances safety, and simplifies daily operations through automation. CTR’s integrated engineering and controls expertise ensured seamless system integration and supported accelerated plant readiness for operational start-up.
