Cryogenic Bulk Tank Rehabilitation – 1,500-Gallon Vertical Vessel

CTR completed the rehabilitation of a 1,500-gallon, 250-PSI vertical cryogenic bulk tank as part of a customer’s ongoing investment in safe, reliable bulk gas storage infrastructure. The project restored the tank to current performance and safety standards while extending service life for continued use in industrial gas operations.

Scope of Work:

• Mechanical and structural rehabilitation of an existing 1,500-gallon vertical cryogenic bulk tank
• Inspection and verification of the stainless steel inner vessel for oxygen, nitrogen, or argon service
• Integration and validation of a dedicated vapor return line to support pumping operations
• Pressure integrity testing and system verification to confirm 250-PSI operating capability

By rehabilitating the existing bulk tank rather than replacing it, CTR delivered a cost-effective solution that restored performance, ensured compliance with modern safety expectations, and enabled the customer to continue reliable cryogenic operations with minimal disruption.
