Our comprehensive rehabilitation process typically includes:

• Complete disassembly of external piping, insulation, and outer jacket
• Surface preparation through abrasive blasting and priming
• Installation of new valves, tubing, instrumentation, safeties, and refrigeration components as required
• New aluminum jacket installation with polyurethane foam insulation
• Final liquid CO₂ fill, pressure testing, and operational verification before shipment

With in-house engineering, fabrication, and cryogenic service capabilities, CTR Cryo can perform custom piping modifications, valve manifold fabrication, instrumentation upgrades, and other engineered improvements while your tank is being refurbished. 

This allows customers to modernize existing assets without purchasing an entirely new storage system.

Replacing aging refrigeration equipment, restoring insulation performance, upgrading valves, and eliminating corrosion helps improve pressure stability, reduce CO₂ loss, and minimize unplanned maintenance.

Every rehabilitation project undergoes detailed inspection, pressure testing, and operational verification before shipment.

Repairs are completed in accordance with applicable ASME, NBIC, ASME B31.3, CGA, and other governing standards based on the scope of work, ensuring customers receive equipment that is safe, reliable, and ready for service.
