Five New Bays. Less Waiting.

A cryogenic trailer earns its keep on the road. Every day it waits for shop space is a day it isn't moving product. That's the problem we set out to solve. CTR is investing in a dedicated trailer bay addition at our Montgomery, Texas facility. The new building gives trailer repair, refurbishment, and new build work its own space, so it no longer shares floor space with the rest of our Texas production.

What we're building in Montgomery

The addition is a 6,300 sq. ft. building attached to our existing Montgomery facility. It holds five dedicated bays; each designed around a 53-foot cryogenic trailer. Each bay has its own front roll-up door, 16 feet of clear height inside, and an interior connection to the main building.

The space also includes dedicated ventilation and work areas, laid out for safe, efficient trailer work. Construction is targeted for completion within about 14 weeks of project release.

Two locations, one standard of work

CTR now offers cryogenic trailer repair and rehab from two locations: Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Montgomery, Texas, in the greater Houston area. Montgomery extends our trailer service footprint into the Gulf Coast, putting a CTR shop within closer reach of fleets operating across Texas and the surrounding region.

Both teams work on bulk, microbulk, and portable cryogenic tank trailers carrying nitrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, helium, and hydrogen. That includes high-pressure MC-331 tanks for liquefied gases and vacuum-insulated MC-338 tanks for cryogenic liquids. Services include structural accident repair, vacuum investigation and integrity testing, piping, valve and pump repair, subframe and suspension rebuilds, ASME code and aluminum welding, DOT testing and certification, MC-331 and MC-338 inspections, and nitrogen purging.

Why bay time matters

For most fleets, the hardest part of a repair isn't the repair. It's finding a qualified shop with an open bay when the trailer needs one. A DOT inspection deadline, a vacuum problem, or accident damage doesn't wait for a shop's schedule to clear.

Dedicated bays change that. Trailer work in Montgomery no longer competes for floor space with tank and equipment production. Intake can be planned around trailer jobs alone, which means clearer dates when you book and fewer delays once the trailer is in.

Planning your next shop visit

Five bays let us take several units from the same fleet at once. If you have trailers coming due for inspection in the same window, group them into one visit instead of cycling them through one at a time.

When you call, have a few details ready: trailer type and size, the product it carries, the service needed or the problem you're seeing, and the date of its last inspection. That lets our team quote the work and hold the right bay time from the first conversation.

Gulf Coast fleets can book with Montgomery. Fleets in the Southeast can book with Rock Hill. If one shop is full, we'll tell you what the other can offer.
